Beloved:
In these days of PHOTO MANIA brought on by the
DIGITAL CAMERA/PHONE CAMERA craze, PICTURE TAKING is on the FRONT BURNER in
American Life. That being said, we must remind ourselves there are OTHER
ways to take PICTURES. One of those OTHER ways is what is called WORD
PICTURES (i.e., Painting Pictures with Words).
So…Let’s look at a few WORD PICTURES, and in doing so ask ourselves the
question: WHAT’S WRONG WITH THESE PICTURES?
-
Our GOVERNMENT is spending BILLIONS of
dollars and putting our Young Women and Young Men in HARMS WAY all
in the name of giving Foreign Countries opportunity for
FREEDOM/LIBERTY, while at the same time the GOVERNMENT is taking
away our FREEDOMS/LIBERTIES here on the Home Front.

“The old way of preaching/teaching and
expecting people to go out and apply it to their lives is so ARCHAIC
and so not in touch with how people really live.” This quote is by
CHANGE AGENT Reggie McNeal in Let'sWorship Magazine
(Vol. 13 No.3, Winter 2009-10, Page 8). This quarterly Magazine is
published by LifeWay Christian Resources of the SOUTHERN BAPTIST
CONVENTION. Please, please read in I Corinthians 1:17-31 (KJV) what the Apostle Paul has to say
concerning PREACHING (note especially v.21)!

“A worship focus on LENT may be
totally NEW to your Congregation. Some in your congregation may
remember LENT as a yearly ritual. It may be BEST for your
congregation NOT TO USE the word LENT. Simply focus on the themes of
Lent (Ash Wednesday, etc.) and preparation for Easter” (Page 59 in
the Worship Magazine mentioned above).
Dear one, do we need CHANGE AGENTS, CHRISTIAN
(Church) COACHES and CULTURAL ENGAGERS for our churches? Or do we
DESPERATELY NEED…GOD-ANOINTED BIBLICAL PREACHING in the PULPITS OF THIS
NATION? Wake us up, Lord Jesus, before we fall off the cliff!
Thank YOU for YOUR FAITHFULNESS to this
REVIVAL MINISTRY. I love YOU dearly in our Blessed Lord Jesus.
Now a word from HIS WORD: “Preach the word;
be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine”--II Timothy 4:2 (KJV). |
