No More

Volume 32

March 2009

Number 3

Beloved:

What a FRIGHTENING Thought! “Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: Wherefore I will DELIVER you NO MORE” Judges 10:13 (KJV). In verses 11-12 the LORD reminds His People of the many times which HE had, on previous occasions, DELIVERED them. This time however, the LORD says…“NO MORE!”

Why the “NO MORE” of God? In verse 14 the LORD informs His People if they desire DELIVERANCE then: “Go and cry unto the gods which ye have CHOSEN; let them DELIVER you in the time of your tribulation.” God’s People were about to learn two very important TRUTHS, which of course the LORD already knew…those being:

  1. These “other gods” His People had CHOSEN had no ABILITY whatsoever to DELIVER. These “strange gods” were death TRAPS…leading the people of God away from HIM into grotesque, despicable sinning.

  2. That REGRET is no substitute for REPENTANCE. As one has stated… “REGRET is Remorse over the Consequences of an Act but REPENTANCE involves Reordering our lives around GOD.” There is a vast difference therefore between REGRET and REPENTANCE as REGRET touches the EMOTIONS while REPENTANCE involves a change of MIND and WILL.

In verses 15-16 we find God’s People Confessing their Sinning, Praying for Deliverance, Putting away the “strange gods” from among them and Serving the LORD. The RESULTS of this Real Repentance was the LORD’S “soul was grieved for the MISERY of Israel (His People)”…And the LORD, once again, DELIVERED HIS PEOPLE (Judges 11:32).

May the LORD help us to UNDERSTAND this TRUTH: NO REPENTANCE = NO DELIVERANCE!! The “NO MORE” of God is upon US and ONLY REAL REPENTANCE on the part of God’s People will we find God granting DELIVERANCE in this PRESENT HOUR.

Bless YOU for all that YOU are doing with YOUR Faithful Support of this Revival Ministry. I love YOU dearly in our Wonderful LORD Jesus.

Now a word from HIS WORD: “O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved: thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return. Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.” (Jeremiah 5: 3-4, KJV)
