Let's Be Clear!

Beloved:

As Graduation Ceremony Speaker at the University of Notre Dame on April 17th, 2009, the President of the United States called for “COMMON GROUND” concerning the ABORTION ISSUE that has divided this Nation since the Supreme Court decision of ROE vs. WADE (January 22, 1973). It was during that same Graduation Ceremony that this former community organizer received an honorary doctor of Laws degree (No doubt this degree was given because of his ability to MASTER the TELEPROMPTER and read speeches that are written by White House speech writers. And for this the national media calls him a great orator. I don’t think so! Maybe a good reader, but orator? REALLY? Take away his TELEPROMPTER and he is like a baby who loses his PACIFIER.

I would now like to borrow one of his favorite expressions, that being: “LET’S BE CLEAR”! So Let’s Be Clear…Right off the bat. There are many ISSUES in life which have NO “Common Ground”. Allow me to name a few:

1. THE ABORTION ISSUE. Let’s Be Clear. Abortion is either MURDER (as in premeditated) of an UNBORN CHILD or just a simple medical (surgical) procedure to remove some tissue, called a fetus. No “COMMON GROUND” here!

2. The CREATION vs. EVOLUTION ISSUE. Let’s Be Clear. Those who wish and look for “THE MISSING LINK” are looking for something that CAN’T BE FOUND…The reason being, you can’t FIND something that has NEVER existed! No Common Ground here!

3. SAME SEX MARRIAGE vs. ONE MAN, ONE WOMAN MARRIAGE ISSUE. Again, Let’s Be Clear (as in VERY). This is a NO BRAINER! Anyone looking for COMMON GROUND here would be like looking for Adolf Hitler in HEAVEN…in other words, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!

In closing, may I say the above ISSUES, along with many others, deal with the CLEAR ISSUE of GOOD vs. EVIL (RIGHT vs. WRONG) and if that is so, and it is…Just which side of the above ISSUES do you believe THE HOLY GOD OF SCRIPTURE is ON? Let’s Be Clear! To Him it’s not COMMON GROUND but HOLY GROUND He would have us STAND ON! GLORY!!!
